RECALLING FIRM/MANUFACTURER
Recalling Firm: Sanofi-aventis US, Inc., Bridgewater, NJ, by letters dated September 19, 2011.
Manufacturer: Gruppo Lepetit Srl, Anagni, Italy. Firm initiated recall is ongoing.
REASON
Lack of Assurance of Sterility.

226,880 cartoon boxes (1 vial/box)
DISTRIBUTION

If in doubt if your vial is part of the recall go to your pharmacy or call Sanofi-aventis. Dont throw out recalled vials, call to ask how to get it replaced.

Thank god its vials not pens as I am guessing that most probably have lantus pens?
