OK so weight is a concern for many diabetics, so this group is for everyone wanting to manage their weight and get support from others doing the same.

I thought it was time we had a weight club group and since I'm working on getting back to the point where I was a year after diagnosis, I thought some others could do with a group as well.

So let us know how youre doing, what your target is and if theres anything in particular thats giving you trouble so maybe we can make some suggestions to help.

well i started again last Saturday weighing 15st 4lb and this Saturday i weighed 15st 1/4lb so a drop of 3 3/4lb so im very happy

i put on .3kg this week but as i went out for a very large meal last week and spent 5 days ill on the sofa not moving im happy with that . I can get back to the gym tomorrow so hope fully i'll drop a bit next week

way to go Sami ! ! ! 1.4 kg is an excellent weight loss (i'm counting water too, cause that would be too much to be sustainable long-term) slow but sure............ you didn't gain all of the weight in a month, it creeps up over the years......... sigh

i've done well this week and have lost 1.4kg this week but as im off out for a meal tonight think it might be short term loss

water fluctuations, don't worry about it Sami, just stick to your original goal, and remember INCHES count too :D

so, i forgot to weigh myself this morning, but i'm going to 'round' my weight to 170 lbs (this means tomorrow morning i should have lost weight....... pants, shoes, shirt, etc) :D

now, to put the yellow sticky note up for myself!

No movement for me this week, but I have to make a point of getting on the wiifit more this week, particularly since I am planning to be home for the weekend for a change.

OK I am lousy at remembering to weigh in on a bank holiday. However, I am hovering at 79.6, down from a starting point of 80.1kg. Nothing massive, but I have been away most weekends and pretty idle the rest of the time. Must do better. Showed a pic of myself at 102kg (BMI 33) just before diagnosis to someone who's only known me for 6 months and he refused to believe it was me lol.

Ok weighting day again (wake up Nige that means you too ) i have lost .8kg this week witch is not bad as i was in Lincoln at my sisters for 4 days having meals out and a lot more than normal
